We had Christmas dinner with my family and here are a few highlights. The kiddos by the Christmas tree, Skyler so happy to get some more Star Wars Legos, Lily in her new fur coat that my mom made her, and Lily posing on the piano bench in her matching skirt. We had a very blessed Christmas season and were so happy to get to spend so much time with our families.
Up next, a visit to Wichita this week to meet the newest addition to our family! Can't wait!

Kaden Arrived!
Well,a little bit ago my sister Rachel gave birth to an 8 lb 15 oz, 21 inch long little bundle of joy! I hear he is beautiful and can't wait to see him!
New Arrival
We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the newest member of our family! My little sister is in labor and we should see little Kaden (through pictures) by the end of the night! I had asked her to please not have him on Skyler's birthday and she obviously held up her promise! I will let you know more when I know more. Please pray for her and Kaden! Thanks.

Skyler Turns Six.
I have no idea what this is going to look once I post it, but these pictures are supposed to be in order from birth to six. Anyway, we are so blessed to have this little man in our lives. He brings us so much joy, laughter, fun, and love that it is amazing all of it can come from one small little being. Happy Birthday Dude! We hope you enjoy your new snowboard!

Svajgl Family Christmas
We had our Svajgl Family Christmas on Sunday and it was a blast. The kids had so much fun. There was a pinata, and it took forever to bust that thing open, but when it burst, it was a great time for all of the kids! Then, of course was the opening of presents. It was so fun to watch Lily open her presents. It is the first time she really understood and was excited about what was happening. Skyler had fun too, because he got double the presents due to his birthday this week! Thanks everyone, we love you all!
So Precious
My Snowy Elves
After Skyler got home from school today, we all went outside to shovel the driveway. Lily had been wanting to go out and play in the snow all day, so she was so happy! It was the first time she got to try out her new snow shovel and she loved it! The two of them weren't much help in the snow removal process, but we (I) finally got it all done and we were ready to come in. The kids were so happy to have some hot chocolate!
This is always a special treat because I don't make just any cocoa, I
make it from scratch and those little packets don't even come close! After the hot chocolate, Lily was ready to go out again! I said no, that was enough snow for one day!
On another note, I had a great day handing out plates of cookies to our garbage men and snow plow drivers. They were all so surprised and grateful! It was a great feeling!

Family Fun Night # 5 Christmas Tree Night
We had our family fun night and it was all about the Christmas Tree. We read about the history of the Christmas Tree, sang "O Christmas Tree" and made 2 Christmas Trees, one out of our hand prints, one with paper punches that we put tissue paper behind and then we made ornaments for our Christmas tree. I don't have a lot of pictures, but here are the few that I do have. We had a lot of fun.
We visited Bethlehem
Every year our church has a wonderful hands on adventure called Walk Through Bethlehem. It is done so incredibly well and we have so much fun at it. They transform the church into the city of Bethlehem and have so many activities, food to taste and we even get to visit Mary, Joseph and Jesus. We always like to see all of the animals, there are camels, goats, donkeys and chickens. We love to see the baby Jesus in the manger, it is our first stop. Our favorite thing to do is to make bread. We like this the best because we get to eat it when it is done. We also made a coin with our initials in it. Attended a Hebrew lesson, made a beaded bracelet, and made a clay pot. It was a ton of fun and we are so glad we were able to go.
