Skyer had the day off from school on Friday so we decided to go on a field trip to
Fontenelle Forest. We had so much fun! They have a display called
Ecohuts, which are different structures made out of
recyclable materials or energy
efficient buildings. They were all very interesting and the kids had a ball playing in them. We went on the
Riverview board walk and played with acorns and walnuts and watched the birds and the squirrels. The view of the river was awesome and we plan to go back soon to see all the trees changing into their fall color.
